Short Construction transformed the iconic Heathercliffe Country House Hotel, a distinctive late-Victorian estate nestled in Frodsham, into an elegant single-family residence.

The project involved carefully converting and extending the existing structure to create a cohesive, spacious home while preserving its historic character. By repurposing previously public hotel spaces into private living areas, the new residence now offers bespoke layouts, generous ceiling heights, and a harmonious balance between heritage charm and contemporary functionality.

The extension seamlessly integrates modern architectural elements, enhancing the property’s flow and comfort while respecting the building’s original form. Throughout the process, the team maintained the estate’s visual integrity by matching carefully selected materials and detailing to the existing façade.
