Hillbrook Grange – Bramhall

Expanding Care with Compassion

Short Construction carried out internal refurbishments to create a new reception area and communal spaces, as well as refurbishing four existing rooms at Hillbrook Grange Residential Care Home, a well-established charity providing compassionate care for the communities of Bramhall and Woodford. Building on their work at the site, the team went on to construct a 7-bedroom extension with en-suites.

Nestled in acres of landscaped grounds, Hillbrook Grange combines the charm of a late Victorian building with modern facilities, offering residents a safe, supportive, and vibrant environment.

The project involved the sensitive integration of new accommodation into the existing structure, which includes a 1960s extension. The new bedrooms were designed to complement the home’s ethos of promoting dignity, independence, and social connection. Each room was built to high standards of accessibility and comfort, with thoughtful attention to detail that supports both residents and staff.

Working closely with Hillbrook Grange, Short Construction ensured minimal disruption to daily operations while delivering a high-quality build that respects the heritage and purpose of the home.
